Meet the family of Beauty (female long hair) and her 4 kittens: Carl (short hair male), Kuma (female long hair), Kona (female long hair), Minnie (female short hair). They are all black and white. The females are mostly black with a little white. Carl is a tuxedo kitten.
Their foster home shared this information about the family:
Beauty (mom) is a long-haired black cat with a little white on her chest. She is SUPER sweet and loving! Doesn’t like to be picked-up but loves attention and is quiet, submissive, and will make a wonderful pet!!!
Carl (male kitten) is a black and white tuxedo is the only male. Carl is very curious, friendly, and at times a bit feisty.
Minnie (female kitten) looks smaller because of her short hair and was tinier than the rest initially but now weighs more 🙂 She is a bit shy to the touch but loves to play and is quick to catch her toys.
Kona (female kitten) has long hair with a bit of white on her chest like her mom. She is very shy and the least friendly of the bunch, but beautiful.
Kuma (female kitten) looks just like her sister Kona but has a bit of white on the toes of two paws. Kuma means Bear in Japanese. She is very sweet and like Carl, doesn’t mind being picked-up. She is beautiful, soft, cuddly, and sweet like her mama.
They are all healthy and no issues to report. As of June 9th, the kittens are all around 2.6-2.8 lbs. and Mama is about 8.6 lbs. Hopefully they will be of weight in the next two weeks or so and can get fixed so they will be available by end of June!
We are posting the kittens in advance of them being ready for adoption so as to find and pre-approve potential adopters. Our kittens are not be available for adoption until they reach about 2.5-3 pounds which happens at about 10-12 weeks. At this time, the kittens will undergo a spay and neuter operation. It can be done younger; however, we have found waiting a few extra weeks gives a better lifetime of health to the cat so the kitten has more time to develop physically. The extra weight is helpful too in coping with potential anesthesia side effects after surgery. Please be patient with us 🙂
Beauty and her babies are being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. We are a rescue and not a shelter so we do not have a facility. The felines will not be available to meet until an adoption event at PetSmart in Temecula. We are unable to bring any unsterilized animals to the adoption event per PetSmart policies but we will have updates on our cats posted on our blog, Facebook, and our newsletter.
You can email directly to info@babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org. The cats are sterilized (spayed/ neutered), vaccinated, microchipped, Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) tested, and ready to go to a loving forever home! Adoption Fees are $95 for kittens and 50 or less for adults depending on the animal.
We hold regular weekend adoption events at PetSmart located at 32413 Temecula Parkway, Temecula, CA 92592. To find out more, please visit our Facebook page, blog, and/or sign-up for our newsletter.
At the adoption event, there will be an interview to discuss whether you understand and are willing to take on the responsibilities involved with owning a cat. The first qualified person interested in an animal will be able to adopt the feline(s). If people have indicated interest in advance, we will go through that list of names first before adopting to anyone who is present at the event.
If you are interested in adopting, please contact Baby Bobby’s Meow House Rescue at info@babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org and learn more at http://babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org/adoption.html.
