We have received not enough donations to continue active cat rescue work of new animals. Valarie Martinez, BBMHR President, has been funding the shortfall from her personal bank account. However with rising costs, it is all too much. We will continue to provide advice to those asking for help. We will also use current funds to provide for unadoptable cats that are currently kept in sanctuary by Valarie.
The adoption fee of $120 does not cover the costs of rescue. Here is a sample of some of the rescue costs. Most animals are rescued from outside which requires parasite treatments.
$153 per cat Low Cost Sterilization Surgery
$30 per shot for Rabies Vaccination
$30 per cat for Flea Treatment
Add on to that vet visit fees, de-wormer medications, microchips, cat food, and kitty litter. We have helped rescue animals then the original person who surrenders wants the cats back and does not reimburse the cat rescue for costs.
Valarie is heart broken to end the active rescues; however, the current situation is not sustainable. The Wildomar kittens and mom will be the last animals until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Meet the Wildomar kittens! There are 6 kittens who are social and their feral mom are getting their sterilization surgeries this week (7/8/24) and will be available for adoption next week. Their adoption home has helped provide us with personality updates so please read more below.
The kittens colors include a dilute torbies, tuxedo, black and white, orange tabby, and brown and white tabby. Below are a few photos of the family.
Our adoption fees do not cover the full costs of veterinary fees and more. It is a financial stretch to help rescue this family. No donation is too small. If you are able to contribute, your help is appreciated. Please scroll down for more on how to donate.

Max (gray tabby male) & Maddy (brown tabby & white) were adopted out as kittens Spring 2019, but their adopters were unable to care for them so they were returned July 2019 to us to rehoming. Max and Maddy are now a bonded pair since they are 6 months old (July). We are looking to place them together.

This is the background of Maggie May and her kittens. There was a rather large colony of cats at a gas station in Winchester. The cats were regularly getting killed since it is a busy street. The original finder worked to trap and fix the feral cats. She worked to get them placed including the Animal Friends of the Valleys feral barn cat program.
The original teamed up with one of our volunteers. One of the female cats, now Maggie May, gave birth right after being trapped. Our volunteer took Maggie May and her kittens into her home for fostering.
The kittens love to play and cuddle. Maggie enjoys sleeping on the top of her foster mom’s head. They have three speeds: go, go faster and STOP. They love their toys and enjoy chasing their foster mom’s feet if she scuffles through the bedroom. They like to play hide and seek.

Meet the Hollywood Kittens – Cat Woman, Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean, Jetsetter, and Mighty Mouse. These five kittens were found on a ranch that was recently sold in Temecula. When they were approximately five days old their mother did not return and the ranch caretaker decided to find an animal rescue. They were then briefly cared for by an animal sanctuary until coming to our cat rescue. Their estimated birthday is April 28th. We received them on June 6th when they were about 5 weeks old.
Cat Woman is a black short hair female. She is quite spunky and easygoing. She holds her own in sparring with her siblings, but is quick to transition to her mellow, sweet purring self when not being challenged. This beauty takes great pride in grooming herself and her siblings.
Elizabeth Taylor is a black & white short hair female. She likes to compete with James Dean for the spotlight. A quick study, she is fast on her feet and does not like to be outshined. She likes to be in the middle of everything but will seek adventure elsewhere if it suits her fancy.
James Dean is a Siamese colored short hair male. He is the leader of the pack and can be quite vocal when he wants your attention. He makes his own rules and is determined to win over new acquaintances, even if it is a grown cat or dog.
Jetsetter is a gray and white tabby short hair female. She loves affection and seeks being close when she wants to nap. She is quite lively, assertive, and confident. Jettsetter’s independence is evident and she will explore as much as permitted.
Mighty Mouse is a black and white short hair male. He is the smallest of his siblings and reserved at first. He loves playing with his siblings’ tails while they wrestle with one another. To indulge him when tired, wrap him lightly in a warm blanket and let him fall asleep on your chest.
We are posting the kitten in advance of them being ready for adoption so as to find and pre-approve potential adopters. Our kittens are not be available for adoption until they reach about 2.5-3 pounds which happens at about 10-12 weeks. At this time, the kittens will undergo a spay and neuter operation. It can be done younger; however, we have found waiting a few extra weeks gives a better lifetime of health to the cat so the kitten has more time to develop physically. The extra weight is helpful too in coping with potential anesthesia side effects after surgery. Please be patient with us 🙂
These kittens being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. We are a rescue and not a shelter, so we do not have a facility. The kittens will not be available to meet until an adoption event at PetSmart in Temecula. We are unable to bring any unsterilized animals to the adoption event per PetSmart policies, but we will have updates on our cats posted on our blog, Facebook, and our newsletter. https://babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org/newsletter.html https://www.facebook.com/babybobbysmeowhouserescue

Meet Oliver (brown tabby short hair male) & Mochi (Russian blue short hair female)! Their fur mom has a terminal cancer diagnosis and is looking to rehome her fur babies. They live with their mom in San Diego and will not be at Temecula adoption events. We will arrange a private meet-up for interested adopters.
Their current home shared this with us: “Oliver is 2. He takes some time to warm up but is very smart and knows his name. He was abandoned in Alpine, by his mom as a wee kitten. Mochi is blind in one eye. She hid on the roofs of houses to avoid being eaten by coyotes. Mochi is very lovable but needs time to learn inside manners.” Mochi lives outside on the porch of her current home. The vet estimated her age as 7.

Meet the family of Beauty (female long hair) and her 4 kittens: Carl (short hair male), Kuma (female long hair), Kona (female long hair), Minnie (female short hair). They are all black and white. The females are mostly black with a little white. Carl is a tuxedo kitten.
Their foster home shared this information about the family:
Beauty (mom) is a long-haired black cat with a little white on her chest. She is SUPER sweet and loving! Doesn’t like to be picked-up but loves attention and is quiet, submissive, and will make a wonderful pet!!!
Carl (male kitten) is a black and white tuxedo is the only male. Carl is very curious, friendly, and at times a bit feisty.
Minnie (female kitten) looks smaller because of her short hair and was tinier than the rest initially but now weighs more 🙂 She is a bit shy to the touch but loves to play and is quick to catch her toys.
Kona (female kitten) has long hair with a bit of white on her chest like her mom. She is very shy and the least friendly of the bunch, but beautiful.
Kuma (female kitten) looks just like her sister Kona but has a bit of white on the toes of two paws. Kuma means Bear in Japanese. She is very sweet and like Carl, doesn’t mind being picked-up. She is beautiful, soft, cuddly, and sweet like her mama.
They are all healthy and no issues to report. As of June 9th, the kittens are all around 2.6-2.8 lbs. and Mama is about 8.6 lbs. Hopefully they will be of weight in the next two weeks or so and can get fixed so they will be available by end of June!
We are posting the kittens in advance of them being ready for adoption so as to find and pre-approve potential adopters.
