Barn Cats are feral or semi-feral cats who live outdoors. They are provided with shelter such a barn or similar structure that is safe place from cold, heat, and predators like coyotes. Barn cats are useful for helping to keep down the rodent populations in places where there are food sources for rodents such as grain. It makes the environment safer for you since you do not need traps and poisons to trap rodents.
We ensure to spay and neuter any cats so as to stop the cycle of pet overpopulation. We will also test the cats for diseases like feline leukemia and provide them with initial vaccinations.
The cats will not be able to sustain themselves on rodents alone. The adopter will need to provide supplemental food and water. The adopter may need to take the cat in for veterinary care.
When adopting a barn cat, placements work best by having multiple cats together. You can read more about it here for the safe relocation of feral cats.

I’m interested in getting a couple feral cats. I live in Temecula.
We have a small ranch in pala and would like to adopt two barn cats
Hi— I have three feral kittens that need a place to call home. Can you take them?
Any referrals of people who are accepting feral cats for placement? I have 3 that need a cozy barn. They have been outside my house for 4 years but we will be moving and can’t take them to AZ.
Hello! I am needing to place 2, possibly 3, friendly feral cats in the barn program. We live in the San Bernardino mountain community of Forest Falls. I am close to Yucaipa, Redlands, Riverside, etc. I understand you don’t cover this area, but can you refer me to anyone that does? All cats have been spayed and if necessary I will see they are vaccinated or pay for it to be done through an agency that can place them. They are semi friendly, meaning they hang out in our back yard all day and show up morning and night for food. They head butt our legs and purr like crazy. They do allow touching and petting, just not cuddles. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated! We are moving out of state and I can’t just up and leave these babies. They have been part of our life for going on 5 years. They are great mousers and always bring us their catch, lol. Even being in the mountains we have not had a mouse in the house since they’ve been around. We love them to pieces and really want to find a good place they can live out their lives. They’re very rugged and have survived various winter conditions. Please help!
